The Shire is committed to growing local sport and recreation in the region. The purpose of this page is to support local sport and recreation clubs and provide a hub for all documents and tools that are useful to the clubs of SJ!

We have a dedicated Community Activation Officer who supports sport and recreation organisations to develop and thrive in the community.

The officer works with local clubs and organisations to provide information and guidance on:

  • Sponsorship & fundraising,
  • Grants
  • Governance
  • Marketing and promotion
  • Volunteer management
