Briggs Park Recreation Centre Expansion and Precinct Masterplan

Thank you for your contributions. This project is now under review.

About the project:

The Serpentine Jarrahdale Recreation Centre is in the planning stages of an expansion project, which will include the addition of two new basketball courts and related facilities to accommodate our flourishing and engaged community.

Furthermore, we're actively developing a new Master Plan for the recreation precinct, aiming to optimise space usage and enjoyment for our community members.

Residents are welcome to reach out to the Project Team with any inquiries or concerns. Your feedback is essential as we work together to enhance our community spaces.

The Shire is gathering insights from our clubs and user groups at Briggs Park and the SJ Recreation Centre throughout April and May 2024.

Community input is invaluable as we shape the future of these facilities to meet your evolving needs. We're also collaborating with sporting bodies and associations to anticipate future growth requirements in each area.

We're actively engaging with various clubs and groups that use the facility, including:

• YMCA WA

• Byford BMX Club

• Mundijong Centrals Junior Football Club

• Byford Bushrangers

• SJ Blues Cricket Club

• Armadale Community Playgroup

• Heritage Country Choir

• GKR Karate
