At its March meeting, Council recommended to the Western Australian Planning Commission that the proposed West Mundijong Industrial Area Structure Plan be approved subject to the Schedule of Modifications.

Upgrades to the Gooralong Brook and Medulla Brook bridges on Jarrahdale Road are now complete.

At its June meeting, Council made decisions relating to the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale Bush Fire Local Law 2021.

The current Conservation zone initiative aims to assist landowners that have conservation worthy fauna and flora on their private properties, to protect it by rezoning the property to enable conservation of the land.

The Abernethy Road level crossing works are now complete.

Council resolved to designate Jarrahdale Oval (Reserve 6428, being Lot 2657 Millars Road) as an “off leash dog exercise area with an exclusion to the designation during Shire approved community events, functions or activities on Jarrahdale Oval” as detailed in the required local public notice specifying this designation as per Section 31 of the Dog Act 1976.

The Shire's biannual Community Perceptions Survey allows Council to receive an overview of the organisations’ performance in service delivery and provides Council with further input from the community to consider in the delivery of the Strategic Community Plan.

Local Planning Policy 4.21 is designed to assist in facilitating tourism development within the Shire’s rural zones.
