At is March 2023 Ordinary Council Meeting, Council adopted Local Planning Policy 3.8 – Byford Town Centre Built Form Guidelines.

This policy has been prepared and approved to facilitate and coordinate the Shire’s desired built form and development outcomes within the Byford Town Centre area.

The policy focuses on creating a vibrant and integrated District Centre, with an identifiable character and sense of place, a safe pedestrian and transit oriented space, and a place that capitalises on natural assets.
