Proposed Differential Rate Categories

For the 2026/27 Budget, the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale is proposing to adopt the following differential rate categories:

  • GRV Residential
  • GRV Commercial / Industrial
  • UV General
  • UV Intensive Farmland
  • UV Rural Residential
  • UV Commercial / Industrial

The overall objective of the proposed rates in the 2026/27 budget is to provide for the net funding requirements of the Shire’s services, activities, financing costs and the current and future capital requirements of the Shire, after taking into account all other forms of revenue.

Further information about each rating category is available in the Statement of Rating Objectives and Reasons for the 2026/27 Rating Year.

To assist in preparing your submission, a copy of the Shire’s Draft Capital and Strategic Projects for 2026/27 is also available.

After reviewing the Statement of Rating Objectives and Reasons for the 2026/27 Rating Year, you are invited to make a submission.
