We are inviting your feedback on the Shire's intention to request the Minister for Planning and Lands to permanently close a portion of Orton Road, Byford, a total of 5947 square meters as marked in grey (as below) in accordance with section 58(1) of the Land Administration Act 1997.

Plans and documents setting out and explaining the scheme amendment have been deposited at the Shire’s administration building at 6 Paterson Street, Mundijong and is available for inspection during office hours between 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Submissions on the draft Public Notice – permanent closure of a portion of Orton Road may be lodged by one of the following ways:

  • A written submission, submitted by mail or in person to 6 Paterson Street, Mundijong, quoting reference SJ141

Submissions close Tuesday, 28 April 2026 at 5:00pm.
