Background

The Shire has received a development application for which comments are sought for an "Automotive Repairs" land use.

The operations are undertaken from a shed at the rear of the site and include servicing and repairs of motor vehicles. No panel beating or spray painting is undertaken. A maximum of 4 vehicles are serviced/repaired per day Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm.

The following works are also proposed:-

  • Shed extension to the west, 2.4m x 10.1m (24m²)
  • Office addition adjacent to the existing shed, 7.9m x 10.1m (80m²)
  • Patio addition adjacent to the existing shed, 17.5m x 5.5m (96m²)
  • Shipping container addition between proposed office and patio additions, 6.1m x 2.3m (14m²)
