Background

The Shire has received a development application seeking a time limited approval for a "Place of Public Worship" to be established within an existing shed and dwelling for a period of four years at L3,155 Warrington Road, Byford.

Specifically, the applicant is seeking the conversion of the existing shed to an auditorium with a capacity of 136 seats, storeroom, cry room and kitchen.

The main operational activities the centre would involve the following:

  • Two playgroups operating between Monday - Friday;
  • Bible Studies – Monday to Friday;
  • Exercise classes – Monday evening.
  • Food Market – Thursday morning/afternoon
  • Youth group – Friday evening
  • Sunday worship
