Why is the Shire engaging on this project?
The Shire is required to engage in accordance with Local Planning Policy 1.4 – Public Consultation for Planning Matters (LPP1.4).
LPP4.1 identifies that for any development that is a ‘Use not Listed’, such as in this instance, that a notice of the development proposal shall be posted on the Shire’s website.
How will my feedback be used?
Any feedback or comments on the proposed development will be considered as part of the assessment.
Who will make the final decision on this project/initiative?
The determination of this application for development approval will align with the Shire’s Register of Delegations and Authorisations as endorsed by Council. Determination of the application would be in accordance with delegated authority 12.1.1.
