Background

The Jarrahdale Outdoor Hub is set to transform the public space at Bruno Gianatti Hall, with Stage 1 works set to be underway by November 2023.

Stage 1 of the project will include the creation of an open irrigated turf area and more accessible pathways, while laying the foundations for future stages of works such as BBQs and seating.

The removal of a portion of play equipment will allow the space to be designed and developed to have families and groups use the turf area for events, picnics and informal activities.

This project will help to activate one of the primary community spaces in Jarrahdale, bringing new life to the town's centre and offering locals and community groups a place to meet and enjoy the outdoors.

The Jarrahdale Outdoor Hub is an initiative led by the Jarrahdale Community Collective and jointly funded by the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, Alcoa and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale is proud to support this project.
