The Shire has received a development application for a retrospective transport depot at Lot 1, 322 Gossage Road, Oldbury.


The application seeks approval for the following:

  • 24 truck parking bays, each 20.0m × 5.0m, designed to accommodate a 19.0m articulated design vehicle;
  • 12,400m2 concrete hardstand, with a further 2260m2 of compacted crusher dust shoulder and buffer areas;
  • An 8m wide one-way internal circulation road, with separate entry and exit crossovers to Gossage Road;
  • No workshop, vehicle maintenance, fuel storage, materials or product storage, office accommodation or permanent staff are proposed;
  • Hours of operation are 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Sunday.
