Development Application: 'Industry Extractive' - Lots 6 + 7 Jarrahdale Road, Jarrahdale

The Shire has received a development application for a proposed extractive industry (sand mining) at Lots 6 + 7 Jarrahdale Road, Jarrahdale.

The proposal includes the staged extraction of around 120,000m² of sand over a five-year period, from a new 8.5-hectare area. Excavation would reach depths of between 1.5 and 3 metres.

If approved, extraction will occur Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm, with an estimated 70 truck movements per day.
