The site is zoned ‘Service Commercial’ under Local Planning Scheme No.3 (LPS3) where the proposed land uses are discretionary with the Motor Vehicle Repair and Service Station uses requiring advertising.

The proposal comprises of three land use definitions of a ‘Service Station’ ‘Fast Food Outlet’, ‘Motor Vehicle Repair’ and ‘Motor Vehicle Wash’ which can be considered under the Shire’s Local Planning Scheme No.3.

The Shire is required to engage the community in accordance with Local Planning Policy 1.4 – Public Consultation for Planning Matters (LPP1.4).
