A new Volunteer Bushfire Brigade Station will be constructed at Lot 800 Pony Place, Oakford.

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale Council approved the development application for the emergency services facility at its meeting on Monday, 20 March 2023.

The new station secures a long-term home for the Oakford Volunteer Bushfire Brigade and the Shire's Emergency Support Brigade.

It will accommodate significant training opportunities and 24/7 emergency response.
