About the Council Plan 2023-2033

The Council Plan 2023-2033 is the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale's long-term strategic blueprint, setting the direction for our community over the next decade.

Developed in partnership with our community, the Council Plan outlines a shared vision for the future and guides Council's priorities, decision-making, service delivery and investment planning. It helps ensure the Shire continues to grow sustainably while maintaining the unique character, lifestyle and sense of community that make SJ a great place to live.

The Council Plan was shaped through extensive community engagement with residents, businesses, community groups, volunteers, young people and seniors. More than 600 people contributed their ideas and aspirations through workshops, surveys and community engagement activities, helping to create a plan that reflects what matters most to our community.

The Council Plan is supported by a range of strategies, business plans and annual actions that help turn this long-term vision into meaningful outcomes for our community.
