Revision of the State of the Environment Report

A State of the Environment Report is an analysis of the trends in the environment of a particular place. State of the Environment Reports are designed to communicate credible, timely and accessible information about the condition of the environment to decision makers and the community.

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale is the fastest growing local government in Western Australia.

The community vision developed by the Shire highlights the importance of protecting the environment in the context of expected growth.

To enable the Shire to adapt to the expected growth, it is updating its State of the Environment Report. The first edition was published in 2019, and in the context of rapid change it requires an update.

Submissions on the Revised State of the Environment Report may be lodged by one of the following ways:

• Email your feedback to info@sjshire.wa.gov.au stating the following reference number: SJ2809
• A written submission, submitted by mail or in person to 6 Paterson Street, Mundijong, including the reference number: SJ2809
• Completing an online form below

Submissions close 5pm, Friday, 25 September 2026.
