Proposed Teaching Block, Play Courts and Access Road at Salvado Catholic College, Lot 102, 115 Abernethy Road, Byford

Background

The Shire has received a development application for which comments are sought for additional teaching facilities, playing courts and a new access at Salvado Catholic College, Abernethy Road, Byford.

The application contains the following key components:

• One General Learning Area (GLA) block, including;
  1. Six general classrooms;
  2. Two teaching kitchens;
  3. Four small study rooms;
  4. Ablutions, locker space and circulation areas; and
  5. A staff room.
• New outdoor playing courts;
• Additional soft and hard landscaping;
• Refurbishing the existing food technology building;
• New internal roads and car parking; and
• A new site access point to Abernethy Road.
