The Shire has received a development application for which comments are sought for a telecommunication monopole and associated infrastructure at Lot 116, 245 Keirnan Street, Whitby. The proposal includes the following:

  • Construction of a 35m telecommunications monopole
  • Installation of 1 triangular headframe
  • Installation of 9 new panels (no greater than 2.8m in length)
  • Installation of 1 Telstra Equipment Shelter that is not more than 3m high with a base area of not more than 7.5m at the base of the aforementioned tower
  • Installation of associated ancillary cabling and equipment
