Background
This proposed development relates to the conversion of an existing outbuilding into a Kennel for the keeping of up to 18 greyhounds and a 20m x 8m outdoor area to be used as a toileting yard for the dogs and enclosed with a 1.8m high Colourbond fence.
The proposal relates only to the housing of the greyhounds and includes the use of a dog walking machine (similar to a treadmill) for general exercise.
Race training activities are proposed to be undertaken exclusively off-site at specialised facilities.
