Will there be more horse trails

Karly Elliott asked over 1 year ago

The feasibility study being undertaken is investigating the potential for a Trails Centre on Lot 814. As part of this the Shire is looking at a Trails Head for the trails that start/finish in Jarrahdale. Further information on this is contained in the existing Jarrahdale Trail Town Business Case endorsed October 2021, which you can view here: https://www.yoursaysj.sjshire.wa.gov.au/jtt?tool=qanda

Council recently endorsed a Concept Plan for 2 Equine Trails in Jarrahdale in partnership with DBCA to improve the bridle trail network in Jarrahdale. This concept is now progressing to the next stages of the trail development process and is complimentary to the Jarrahdale Recreation and Trail Head Master Plan that was recently out for public comment.

What area does lot 814/815 cover? Will the RV Stop remain?

Bryon asked over 1 year ago

The area comprises of  814 Millars Road, Jarrahdale (Approx 22ha) and Lot 815 Jarrahdale Road, Jarrahdale (4.7ha).

With respect to the RV Stop, this will remain currently. The feasibility study concept progressing indicates an area dedicated for RV Bays.
