Keirnan Park Stage 1A now past the halfway point
Keirnan Park Stage 1A continues to take shape, now reaching halfway completion, with strong progress across both the sporting fields and pavilion.
Recent works have included:
- AFL pole footings completed for both the western and eastern ovals
- Landscape conduits installed and poles in place on the eastern oval
- Rock pitching completed along the southern batter
- Stage A pavilion mechanical ducting, internal brick cleaning and siphonic connections completed
- Stage A pavilion mechanical ducting, internal brick cleaning and siphonic connections completed
- Stage B internal blockwork and core filling completed
- Stage C blockwork and facebrick works progressing to around 80% completion
Over the coming weeks, works will continue on the cricket pitch and netting, irrigation, retaining walls, bore pad earthworks and roadworks, alongside further pavilion works including structural steel, roof flashings and internal plumbing, electrical and mechanical rough-ins.
It’s great to see another important stage of the precinct continuing to progress as Keirnan Park moves closer to delivering new sporting and recreation facilities for our growing community.
