How often will the advisory group meet?
The group will meet quarterly with additional meetings scheduled to respond to time sensitive or emerging priorities (subject to availability).
Is the Advisory Group a decision-making body?
The Advisory Group is a non-decision-making body and operates in an advisory capacity to Council only. It does not have delegated authority to act on behalf of Council or commit Council resources.
I am a stakeholder across a number of sectors, which one do I select as the sector to represent?
For a broad and balanced view across the food system we are seeking two stakeholders from each of six different sectors: Passionate community representation, Education sector representation, Local producers, Local businesses, Not for profit representative and Regional economic development body representative. Please select the stakeholder group you can best represent and speak on behalf of. Consider how you can contribute to the objectives outlined in 2.1 of the Terms of Reference and the Scope of work outlined in 2.2.
What information do you need submitted to express my interest?
Please answer the questions in our short survey and provide a cover letter (no more than 2 A4 pages) outlining your background, experiences, networks, their ability to uniquely contribute to the objectives (2.1) and scope of work (2.2) outlined in the Terms of reference.
