The Shire has received a development application for a retrospective Resource Recovery Centre.

The site is currently being used for an unapproved Resource Recovery Centre, for which the subject application seeks approval. Activities undertaken on site include the screening, stockpiling and handling of mulch and other green waste materials using standard earthmoving equipment.

Standard operating hours are 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional operations on Saturdays. Approximately three employees work on site. The site generates an average of 10 to 30 vehicle movements per day, depending on operational demand and deliveries. Site access is via Jackson Road.
