Development Application - Proposed Extractive Industry at Lot 4 and Lot 5 King Road, Oldbury

Background

The Shire has received a development application for which comments are sought for proposed ‘Industry - Extractive’.

The application seeks approval to extract, in two stages, approximately 363,990m³ of sand over a period of five years. The depth of extraction would range from 1m to 6m. Extraction would occur between the hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and involve approximately 44 vehicle movements per day. The vehicular access is proposed via an existing driveway at the southern boundary of Lot 4.
