The Shire has received a development application for an ‘Industry – Rural’ land use at Lot 42 (No.19) Kiely Lane, Hopeland as shown following.
The application seeks approval for a fruit packing and distribution facility located towards the front of the lot. It includes a 15,140m2 packing shed and a 457m2 office.
Access to the site is proposed via a full movement crossover on Kiely Lane.
An exit is also proposed from Karnup Road.
The application details that there would be 15 to 20 staff in the office and an additional 15 to 20 in the packing shed at any one time. The application details that the development would result in between 38 and 165 vehicle movements within peak hours.
