The Shire has received a development application which seeks approval for a single-storey, purpose-built Emergency Ambulance Depot and Office to support the operational, training, and wellbeing needs of St John staff, volunteers, and first responders.
The proposed development will consist of the following:
317m2 ambulance garage
480m2office and staff accommodation
Rest, Crew and Kitchen rooms
Office space and meeting rooms
Toilets and other amenity rooms
External landscaped areas
Circulation space
The site is expected to operate 24/7 with response calls being taken and ambulance dispatched to attend. The site will also facilitate training of staff and externals.
It is expected that the site is not open to the public and parking is wholly dedicated to staff on site.
