Pride in Peel Celebrate IDAHOBIT Week
IDAHOBIT means International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Lesbophobia and Transphobia.
IDAHOBIT was started on May 17, 1990, when the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from the Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems.
In 2023 we celebrate IDAHOBIT Week from May 12 to May 21.
Pride in Peel would like to invite you to join their events and support Inclusivity and Diversity for the Pride Community especially in the Peel Region.
Their activities aid in educating the public and increasing awareness of the ongoing efforts required to eradicate discrimination to the LGBTQIA+ Community especially in the Peel Region.
